Amanda Purdy, BEd, 33 (at Jan 1 2008), grew up in Baradine in northern NSW and was educated at Coonabarabran High School. She was introduced to the understanding of the human condition in 1994 by FHA member Richard Biggs while at the Queensland University of Technology. After teaching for several years, Amanda moved to Sydney in 2001 to directly support the FHA.
