Bronwyn FitzGerald, BAg Ec (Hons), 33 (at Jan 1 2008), grew up on a farm near Goondiwindi in southern Queensland and was educated at St Peters in Brisbane and Goodiwindi High School. Bronwyn was introduced to the understandings of the human condition at the University of New England in 1994 by FHA member Susan Armstrong. She moved to Sydney in 1996 to directly support the FHA and assists with The Human Condition Documentary project and with developing the University of Denial-Free Studies. Bronwyn became a director of the FHA in July 2007.
