Connor FitzGerald, BRurSc, 28 (at Jan 1 2008), grew up on a property outside Glen Innes, NSW and was educated at the Anglican Church Grammar School in Brisbane. He studied Rural Science at the University of New England, Armidale. Connor became interested in the FHA through his friend and FHA member William Salter as well as through his close relationship with FHA members Prue, Anna, Polly and Tige Watson. In 2004, Connor moved to Sydney to directly support the FHA. He is involved in many aspects of the FHA and works as a project manager in a manufacturing business.
