David Downie, BCom LLB CA FTIA, 35 (at Jan 1 2008), grew up in Brisbane and was educated at Brisbane Boys College. David was introduced to the understandings of the human condition in 1993 by FHA member James Mollison whilst studying Commerce/Law at the University of Queensland. After graduating David moved to Sydney in 1997 to directly support the FHA. He is a director of a chartered accounting firm in North Sydney and plays an important role assisting the FHA with financial and commercial matters.
