Emma Cullen-Ward, BCom, 34 (at Jan 1 2008), was introduced to the FHA’s work while studying Commerce at the University of Queensland. Inspired by the FHA’s efforts to engage debate in the scientific and broader community, Emma moved to Sydney in 1996 with her partner John Biggs and pursued a career in public relations and issues management. By 2003, she was a partner of a leading Sydney-based communications firm before joining a global investment bank to manage its media relations and public affairs. Throughout her career, Emma has assisted the FHA on many projects, including the launch of A Species In Denial in 2003. She is the director of a communications business servicing some of Australia’s most prominent companies. |
