Sally Edgar, BA, 34 (at Jan 1 2008), grew up in Dalby in southern Queensland and was educated at New England Girls School in Armidale NSW, before attending the University of Queensland in Brisbane. She was introduced to the understanding of the human condition in 1998 by FHA member Nick Shaw while working as a rural journalist. In May 2000, Sally moved to Sydney to support the FHA and continued to work in the rural media sector. Sally helped manage the launch of bestseller A Species In Denial, in June 2003, and assists the FHA PR team with various projects. She works as a consultant in a communications business servicing some of Australia’s most prominent companies.
