Sam Belfield, BRurSc (Hons), 34 (at Jan 1 2008), grew up on a sheep station near Armidale in central north NSW and was educated at The Kings School, Sydney. He was introduced to the understandings of the human condition in 1993 by a number of other students who were also attending the University of New England, in particular FHA members Susan Armstrong and Annabelle West. Sam moved to Sydney in 1996 to support the FHA and has been deeply involved in a broad range of its activities since then.
