Susan Armstrong, BRurSc (Hons), 34 (at Jan 1 2008), grew up on a sheep station near Cumnock in central-west NSW and was educated at Abbotsleigh Girls School. Given a copy of Beyond by Steven van Hemert, a close friend of Jeremy, in 1991, Susan followed up her interest in the book’s ideas with FHA member Annabelle West while attending the University of New England. After graduating in 1996, Susan moved to Sydney to directly support the FHA and is now working full-time assisting with The Human Condition Documentary Proposal and other FHA projects.
